I have a job, my own house and car, a life and my score per minute is more like a score per week which is probably 1 a week and on a good week 2!!!(but dont tell the missus)

Just having a laugh, but really your stats are yours, why get them rated by everyone else, most of you who say "rate these" are high ranks, you are good at the game and know it, play to have fun, flame me i dont care in real terms it wont count to me.

I love playing the game and respect those who have nothing but help for other people trying to play, or play with no arrogance just to have fun and not say im the best "sniper" or whatever kit you like playing.

I feel the fun is lost with some people and stats on this game are just to important, fuck your stats lets all from this site just get on a server and have a laugh one night, forget ranks, stats, and play, I do play SF alot now, but anyone who plays vanilla or SF who just wants a good crack, in game banter and generally enjoy themselves, let me know and I am more than willing to get that "Fun Factor" back!!!

check it out man i am in total agreement on the fact have fun.. for some of us fun comes from the competition or competitive spirit. I'm retired so i like to sit home and game.. To keep the game from getting boring or repetitive the competition to get in the top 5 of the world with any gun or kit is fun as shit.. You can call it arrogance that is your opinion and are entitled to that.. I consider it to be fun to compete for a win on any map i play on... Its not that i take the game to serious, give me a break it is only a game.. but its a game that's played by mostly 18-30 year olds which i fall in so i like to see how good i am compared to others my age that play the game. I can remember when i was ranked 7th in the U.S at bf 1942 november of 2004 hahaha.. good times.. So when BF2 came out i was pretty stoked and picked it up quick.. Rating stats and coming on forums is always in good fun.. weather it be talking shit, starting arguements  or give constructive critisizum.  basicly man i have nothing better to do, or like to do for that matter. so why not have fun with it on the forums as well.

And who cares if others rate stats or not.. obvously you care to an extent if your willing to start a thread on a forum about it.. if you really didnt care what people did you wouldnt be on a forum much less start a thread bout something you didnt care about. but its probaly a bit fun for you as it is for me, reading and posting shit about and to the people you play against.

I'll give you guys a heads up (this is something I learned myself), you can have the best stats in the world and get totaly destroyed in clan matches.  Pub play just doesn't compare.  So don't get over-excited that "omg im #XYZ in the world" or "w0ot im #7 with such-and-such weapon!!!1!!!" because it doesn't mean much when you are faced against a good player.  Stats are a way to judge players skills, but don't get bent out of shape if you get a purple heart, or don't make it to colonel.

very true.. but at the same time its a different "type" of game.. via 8v8 or 12 v 12 league play is a bit different then 16 v 16 pub or 32 vs 32 pub. How many times have you gone upagainst a full squad of 5 to 12 clan guys with a full pub and beat them? League play is different by all means you dont have dumbass on the battlefield. Skill can be looked at in different ways. being able to pull of a win with alot of dumbass on your team not everyone on voip is very difficult especialy when going up against clan members that have worked togethor for a while and use TS or vent. And its not like guys only play in league play.. i was in cal for natural selection a HL mod, but i choose not to join Cal for BF2 only because ive decided i only want to be apart of either the best clan out there (for my own reasons) or a clan which i make for IRL friends and I. Dealing with getting scrims and getting games going sometimes take up to an hour of just sitting around waiting for everyone to join. Which is the main reason i dont want to deal with it anymore. 1 more min guys xyz is almost here.. 10 mins later a shit xyz cant make it lets see if zyx guy can get in.. 30 mins later.. sorry guys we have to forfiet not everyone is here.. that gets old after about the 10th time.. And to say all the good players "only" play league play is well far fetched.

true. I consider myself good at armour, in pubs i mop up infantry, but in clan wars, is were the talent shows (i still need more practise). So far i have died only about 30-50 times in clan wars, i consider that good, for the amount of matches ive played in.
Its the wars that prove who is the best players.
In a way its a good thing EA are getting rid of the squad jump thing, too many times i have fought of 5 members of a squad, to have them all swap leaders and 10 spawn back. Soldiers dont get made outa thin air...

as for stats, all they do is keep a record of all the good and bad things that you do in game. No player should be judged on that. Man im a high rank, i suck 60% of the time on foot. Im good at what i do (which isnt much), but im also playing the game the way IM having fun. thats all i care about. I have crappy assualt rifle stats, but i have it just past 1:1, and im happy. Do what your happy with, some love the ground pounding and some love the vehicles, the game is yours to play as you desire (being inside the ROE ofcourse).

I will leave you with a few words of wisdom..

Do now what others are not willing to do so later in life you can do what others can't afford..

It's not how much money you make but how you invest the money you save..

You can go to college and pay someone teach you how to get a better job and work for them.. Or you can pay someone to learn about money and learn how to make money work for you.
