Perhaps this story reveals that I take BF2 too seriously at times but the other night I was playing a quick round on Dragon Valley. As usual, I was in the F-35 trying to avoid the J-10s and rack up a reasonable score at the same time. It was over one of the central flags that I noticed a J-10 taking a leisurely flight back to its hanger. Quickly, I pulled in behind it unleashing my missiles in three pairs of two - EVERY BLOODY MISSILE seemed to fly off in an alternative direction and I ended up with 8 TKs (a full BH and a Cobra). For some reason I got so angry that I had to destroy something - without looking I picked up a random booklet from the top of my desk and tore it in half. It was only then that I realised it was my manual to Command and Conquer: The First Decade
I must say this is a massive improvement on 6 or 7 years ago when Diddy Kong racing on the N64 cost me two controllers and a hole in my door (My poor parents must have thought I was insane).
Anyway, I know I take this game too seriously but my poor C & C manual now sits atop of my computer as a constant reminder to chill the f**K out
How angry do you guys get when playing BF2 and things aren't going well?
