Altho I burn the photos I take on dvd's on a regular basis I still like to have them handy on the computa for quick access. Other than that, movies, music and games eat space ofc. Also I like to keep the stuff organized. Couldn't do that with a 500GB external drive that was overloaded constantly. Besides I don't trust it anymore after the power broke last year. Good thing the drive itself didn't break down.
