Today I've played three separate servers. Two of them had me as a private, the last one had me as a Gunnery Sarge (which I am). I thought this was a little fishy, so I logged out. Came back just now and it took about 3 minutes to log into BF2 and when I clicked BFHQ took about another 2 mins to get my stats. Which stated I was a private with 0 points.
This all points towards my stats being wiped, but I honestly can't think of what I've done wrong and when I checked my stats here on bf2s I'm still a Gunnery Sarge (yes, I updated my stats after checking bfhq). So I've concluded that there is an issue in the connection between my computer and the EA stats server, meaning my attempt to retrieve my stats from the server time out, thus showing 0 and private. If so, how can I get my connection back to normal?
