Id go with overclockers. They use quality tech in their prebuilt machines. I usualy build my own. But I bought a prebuilt unit for work 2 years ago for

Yes prices are same, I only go 'cus they so close, and it obviously means saving on shipping fees and I have what I want straight away and I can pay cash. Although it can actually be better to buy online, because of the distant sellers act you can return stuff within 2 weeks without any questions/testing.jord wrote:

Ya but if I get one now can't I just upgrade whatever is key to run bf3 well shortly before it's released? I can't be assed building the whole machine, but I could probably spend a bit of time swapping a part around.

This pile of wank doesn't run bf2, it doesn't run CSS anymore and it won't even run the poker game PKR. It's wank. I'm not even going to sell it, I'm going to take it out in the back garden and take my Samurai sword to it to unleash 7 years of frustration and rage.

That monitor u pm'd me about looks good for the price Jord, you still looking at a prebuilt then with £500 budget?
Can't you just buy a few parts now to get it up to scratch, and buy the rest later when BF3 comes out? The closer to its release you buy new hardware the better value for money youre going to get.
