yes its true, PB is perm. CD-key banning hackers with aimbot/namehacks/anti-reoil and such.

btw i found 1 funny post of a dude that got a CD ban

I think that a PERMANETN BAN (like GUID or HW) is ILLEGAL from EA (or all other software house that use PB).
I think that a "cheater" should be kicked for 2 / 3/ 10 min from a server, but, you can't BAN me forever because i have use a cheat.......!!!!!
IN FACT i think that must exist an intenational regolamentation about software USE. I think if you have BUY a product paying it, the software house CAN'T do THAT!!!! You have right to USE it, cheating or not cheating.
When i have buy the product (BF2) i haven't read that USING CHEAT, EA CAN PERMANENTELY BAN YOUR COPY, ...........THIS IS ILLEGAL!!!!

I THINK THAT MUST SIGN A ON-LINE PETITION to ELIMINATE this kind of BAN..............

nah its not a hd ban. he can play any other gmaes with pb but he cant play bf2 with that CD-key

Lol, if he had actually bothered to read the license agreement he would have found that they have given warning that hacking/cheating will result in a cd-key ban.
Always a good idea to at least skim those, it's amazing the crazy terms it's legal for the software vendor to impose on their software.

I actually know someone who got hardware banned and he has changed his hard drive, video cards, sound card, network card. Change alot of shit and still hardware banned for using a hack he downloaded to see what it looked like and used it in a server with me for like probably 5 mins and now he is fuckkkkkkkedd. Its funny but i am kinda starting to feel sorry for the guy

One of my clan mates was given a hack (thankfully he didn't use it) but one of his mates (not in my clan or anything, just a guy I played with a little) wanted one too, so he went and downloaded one. Needless to say hes now GUID banned hahahah.

well I saw someone owning evry1 with the site name as his user name and I could not help but to check the site [this was ages ago] and at 1st i was like wtf is that o.o then now i went back cause i was bored and I see ppl posting about getting banned so im like haha @ cheaters. I admit i registered on the forum in that site but I dont hack for shit. [just look at my K/D ratio]
If i would have said this before, i mean how would it sound?
plus i bet these hacks are trojans -.- [plus if i would have downloaded it I would have bin banned alredy?]

Point: I went on the site, Dont do anything exept read, laugh at them and then post here and pls dont say im a hacker cause that is like low low low and i dont go low! ;[

I think this is a very good thing from EA to do. I think it is the ONLY way to prevent players from using cheats. Think of another one of you like, I can't! When people know that, if they get caught with using cheats, their copy of BF2 or whatever game will be banned, most of them might get scared and therefor don't use the cheats.

I just think that a banning cheaters is a good way of keeping the game clean of those cheaters. Let's be honest: have you ever enjoyed playing with/against a player who was cheating? In whatever type of game? I haven't.
