Same For Me.

i have up and down rounds on the same server.  I played on one this morning.  I had the highest ping in the server.  I had the best score for my team, and I didn't even get a medal.  Other days I know I will be having a good round (102 on Warlord) and not medal.  And then other days I will go 1 kill and 16 deaths and 10 points.  Nothing I try works on days like that.

So yeah your doing to have days and rounds like that.

Nothing to really worry about.

I think this is normal. It'll lessen as you get more experience but unless you're much better than average I wouldn't expect it to go away entirely - how many times have you checked the scores during a game to see players ranked first sergeant and above (even majors and colonels) with lower scores than you?

And even if you really are skilled sometimes it's just impossible to prevail because of things beyond your control - how sucky your side can be individually, as squads and as a team, and how good the other side is of course.

8 days out of 10 I'm in the middle of the score board.  The other day I have those days everyone wants.  You kill everything in sight.  You see the guys sneaking up on you.  Nothing go wrong.  When it happens I'm on top of the score board. 
The remaining day, I couldn't hit the broadside of a battleship from 2 feet away.  I can't hit anything, can't see anything.  Miss everything going on around me and end up with scores like 1 and 16.  That happened last night.

I don't worry about it too much and I'm First Sgt, in 15000 pts or so Sgt Maj.

I've found that when I do poorly it's because the other team is owning my team badly.  When half your team is dead, it's hard for you to do well because you're outnumbered 2:1.

It also depends on your commander, believe it or not!  If your commander is in a tank or a jet, chances are you are not getting the UAV support that your opponent is.  It becomes very difficult to dominate when the other team knows where you are and you don't know where they are.

My recommendation to you is:  when your team is constantly losing, identify the reason why, and head that problem off.  Usually it's one really good tank guy, and your team is all assault.  spawn AT and take that guy out.  Maybe it's your commander.  Repair his assets.  NEVER mutiny a commander who isn't doing his job because his assets are wrecked.  that's your responsibility to repair them.

Lastly, Kiss up to your commander.  I kid you not!  If you repair his stuff, or follow his orders when you'd rather do that, he'll remember you and give you supplies or UAV when you need it.  And that helps win games.

Switching to Sniper helps me out or *sigh* using the Medic weapons usually brings me back up. If the Assault rifles aren't working for me (remember, it's all about deviation/luck [even in single shot] rather than skill when using an Assault rifle) i just use the super Medic weapons (the unlocks for medics, i know they are assault rifles but still), the bullets just go where i point the crosshair/ironsight with no problems. If i take a hit i back off, re-heal and get back in. If i'm sniper i just lay back and pick off people, the bullets go where i point them. Always brings things back up. Real easy kits to do good with, providing you have the right unlocks.

Only if i'm having a bad round/if i'm on the losing team (i'm talking getting really smashed to bits by the other team) i just go as sniper picking people off instead of bothering becuase it's all over...

Or disconnect/find a more balanced server.

Or get in a vehicle (not a F35 on a J10 map).
