My computer was running just fine. I set everything up perfectly started it up installed some drivers and restarted. Now it will stay on for about 5 seconds before turning off then turning on then turning off then turning on over and over again until i intervene. What gives? I even rem oved a video card and a few accessories but it doesnt help.

can you boot into safe mode?

you may want to do that and then uninstall\reinstall each new driver one at a time to test (install one driver, restart.. install next one, restart).. see which one might be the culprit.

If that doesnt do anything... memtest mang...

Mine was doing this when my power supply was going, try unplugging some unnecessary devices if you can and restart.

This could also be a possibility... though Antec is usually a good PSU... hmmm

Even the good ones go once in awhile.  Admittedly, the one of mine that went was a OCZ, but when I moved it over to a less demanding computer it worked fine for about 3-6 more months.

doesn't mean it can't have manufacturers defects.

or that the PSU is the offender. still could be software.

yhus, nexus, do you remember which drivers you installed when you before that restart? For what and what driver version specifically.

I don't know much about multirail psus, but dont you need to make sure that its pretty spread out on each rail so you don't try overpowering one rail?

Windows 7
Can't boot into safe mode
Can't get far enough to reinstall windows let alone get into the bios
No overclocking

But the weird thing is it tries to reboot itself everytime it turns off. It's a never ending proccess. It's only on for about 5 seconds.

Alright well i tried it with a 560watt PSU with the BARE MINIMUMS

Only a hard drive and it still does the same. So a mobo issue?

Memory could not have been seated correctly.  Or any of the other issues, could've been grounding etc..
