I wish my version didn't corrupt, truly fantastic game. Might take my pc to a mates hose to buy it off steam + xpacksunnamednewbie13 wrote:
Arkham Asylum is beautiful, but I wish I could tell whether or not events were preventable or scripted failures. Played through the guards getting gassed a few times before I gave up on the area and moved on.It's hard for me to decide what to take. I've put the bow away (as much as I like it) in favor of a sword, shield and lance because of the frequency of shielded opponents. The lance's charge-instakill makes me question why I ever put it away, other than when I make a mistake and get swamped in infantry.Adams_BJ wrote:
gotta love charging down the infantry with a lance.
Running around with an army of those K-something veteran mounted archers, max-level Nord infantry and Vaegir (?) marksmen. I can get a force of superior numbers milling about in a big pool of infantry while I pick them off at the sides until I've mega-aggro'd everyone...at which point, I order everyone to charge in. The Nords do a great job of neutralizing any cavalry that want to take out my foot archers.
e: It's also refreshing how the game isn't afraid to be sexist, but the 'shield maiden' I made to offset my male villain's kind of depressing gameplay is still met with too much approval.
e2: Game got me permanently hooked when I found out that I could recruit my captives and their captives into my army. Female villagers rescued can be upgraded into a fairly elite cavalry. Also refreshing is the fact that if you take land without any legitimacy, the sky seems to fall on your head.

Ehh, worth the £5 I paid, but no replay value really.RTHKI wrote:

You're secretly monitored by Valve and whenever you post something about a game that is available on Steam anywhere on the internet, a sophisticated algorithm analyzes your words, and when it detects that you're talking positively about the game and the chances that you're gonna convince more people to be interested, it'll lower the prices to optimize sales numbers and revenues.
Gaben can conveniently sit in his executive chair, watch the graphs and check his bank accounts. While chewing pizza.
I think he has bought up Skynet in 1997.
Sisco, go talk about Starcraft 2, Gabe might put it on Steam...

'do want' to say its desirable, i.e. pretty, is very different from 'will have'
