Well while all these things were goin' on my ping greatly fell from 300 to 120 on US servers but then after a hour or 2 it went back up to 300, did this happen to any else?

I'm from Iceland btw [between UK and Us so it kinda sucks]

ugh when i say between i dont mean like BETWEEN i mean its like.... Its long to both countrys so my ping is never super low.

pls notice that 4 months ago my ping was ussaly 90 and now its 300

Even though I'm from the U.S., I play on Aus and Euro servers a lot, and my ping doesn't bounce back and forth that drastically. It usually stays around the ballpark of 130-150.

your lucky. After some PB update my ping went up and the only server's i can play on are

Multiplay.co.uk servers Ping there is: 50

and

2 other that are in Iceland ping there is: 5-15 but they are ALLWAYs empty :'(

u shud try our servers, they are usually full (hell i seem to be the one who always starst them up) and every1 on em has lowish pings, and they spread from all ove europe. u shud try it.

we have 3 servers:

85.236.101.29:16567 (64 players on 64 size maps, most good maps are on here)
85.236.101.29:16667 (this is the one im usually on, 44 players on 64 size city maps and wake)
85.236.101.29:16867 (karkand, 16 players)

I don't know how people can find that kind of latency acceptable, back in the old days of modems you could tweak the hell out of them and if you had a bit of luck get a ping of around 150ms.

Since i'm on Nildram they're the kings of latency, i've had times where ingame i'll have less than 10ms. (this is typically on Jolt which is hosted on Nildram)

I consider anything more than 50ms to be unacceptable, especially nowadays.

Does take me back to some fond memories, tweaking the mtu to 576 etc.

If it makes you feel any better I joined a server this morning and had a ping of 2 for half the round. Then my connection took a dump and it went to 4.
