BF2S Forums 62%

Well, that doesnt look like it would stall, but i had a odd problem kinda like yesterday, but it was when i was loading battlefield 2, it would like play some of the movie and then it would go black for like 5 minutes and then crashed. but it worked this morning, maybe its just one of thoes one time things, idk.

It often says optimizing shaders if you have been changing any settings and it could be your firewall recognizing it as a new prog needing you to allow it again.

If you hit Alt+Tab when it freezes you could check for any firewall popups !

Could be so simple, or it could be something else ?

Well I know that "minimizing isn't recommended" via EA. Well I dont think they even reccomend playing the game LOL. But I have done it and no firewall issues also I haven't changed my settings since my last install about 60 days ago. I haven't installed any new games or apps either. The new patch probably just doesn't like my computer. I also have noticed a speed change with lower graphic settings previously but I have all my settings on Med now and haven't changed in a while. I will try to repatch tonight with the full patch and see if that helps. Thanks Everyone for your input.

Always at 62% - Geometries.

ever scince a switched from nvidia to ati my system pauses at 62% for like 15 seconds and then carrys on

mine never stops at 62%, maybe you guys are running your stuff too high?
i have everything on low, so it loads really quickly

mine does same thing since last patch and 2 guys I work with that I play BF2 with....but after the 62% it goes right to 100%
