Well, I got my new PC, and reinstalled BF2 and a BF2SF so it all works like a dream.  So, I went ahead and got Euro Force, as I thought it looked cool.  Had an issue earlier where I was continously kicked for having a modified version of BF2 installed (which I didn't as I had just installed BF2/SF, and patched it right before Euro Force) but that seems to have gone away with the new patch.  Now the issue is randomly losing connection to a server in Euro Force, even if my ping is very low.  This generally seems to happen in the first few moments of the game, and was wondering if anyone had any information about this.

Regards,
The Nameless Marine.

*edit*  Now its doing it with Vanilla BF2 as well it seems, even before I join the game.

Hmm.... try reinstalling PB, it may have something to do with that.

Nope, not wireless.  Do I just download something off PB's website or do I mess with the BF2 disk?

Help would be much appreciated.

Went to the PB website, got PBSetup, and used to to make sure my PB was up to date.  Well, it wasn't, so it apparently updated it for me, but I still get the same "Connection to the server has been lost" message.

2.0 Ghz AMD 3800+ dual core processor
2gb Dual channel memory
XFX GeForce 7900gt

I fixed the problem accually.  It seems that the nVidia firewall, the one DESIGNED to protect gamers, persists after I tell it to sod off.  I uninstalled it and have had no problems.  Thanks for your assistance though, it helped me narrow it down.
