yes it does. and if your isp happens to be bigpond they'll count your upload as well, even though they say they dont. scummers.

bigpond is 1 of the australian broadband providers, from Telstra
my friend has the same bb as i do and he doesn't get charged at all and he has the same amount of download limits as i do i dont know what to do i havent got the money to go over the limit and pay a huge bill

i have a 1mb connection with a 3gb DL limit. ever scince we got BB about 8-9 months ago ive been going way over this limit, ive been DLing 15gb's a month scince i got it but nothing has been said and there have been no extra costs, my DL speed has stayed the same as well, guess im just very lucky.
If you want to monitor your DL usage, theres a program called DUmeter, just type that into google and get it from there. i think you need to register it but that can easily be sorted

Well that sounds crap - my feelings go out to all Australians who have to live with up/down limits...
I'll pay 500 NOK = 108 AUD per month, and get to do whatever I want on a 16000/8000 line (and Sweden's worse (I hate you ))
Just to put it into perspective, 500 NOK is about 5 hours work at a local grocery-store or something similar..

Absolutely ridiculous. Note to self - don't move to Australia. Looks like the Nordic European countries are doing fine on the broadband-front.. BTW how much is a 10M/10M connection in the U.S.?

Jackabo, I'm with iiNet on a 4gb/4gb BB2 monthly plan, and I'm only using aprox. 10mb - 50mb per night on anywhere between 1 and 3 hours of BF2.
My advice, stay away from the pron and the muzak!

i might just upgrade to 20 gig broadband its only €10 cheaper and i have unlimited upload and its increased to 2 mb

I have a 10gig limit, and struggle to reach half of that each month. And I play bf2 everyday.
