Which in your opinion do you think is better? Also, are the PKM and MG36 worth wasting an unlock on?
Should I waste my unlock on the MG36?
lately, i have been rolling with the rpk. let me tell you that it is AMAZING. i dont know why, but i get more kills with that than any other support. the pk is really good too since its accurate and strong, mg36 is good cuz it shoots fast.
yeah, i was thinking about the rpk too, the only thing that sucks is we can only use it while on mec

i also hear though that the pkm is excellent, and i dont know which support gun would be best for me, rpk, mg36, or pkm
While the PKm isnt the most accurate of the lmg's, it does carry the most dmg. The MG36 is a great weapon if you need to put lots of bullets downrange, a bit more accurate than the PKm, it isnt as much of a heavy hitter. In the end, both unlocks are usefull and needed, if you only have one unlock available, stop at the Pkm...grab the 36 later.

The RPk is similar to the MG36 in cyclic rate and accuracy, again...niether are doing the raw dmg of the PKm (7.62x54 for the PKm and 5.56mm for the MG36 and RPk) (*eastern bloc equivalent to the 5.56mm). The Rpk is not a bad weapon, but limited only the mec troops I think. I have always found it usefull to find a weapon you are comfortable with and stick with it. The recoil and shot deviation are key to each weapon, giving each one a "personality" if you will. Go mingle and make friends hehe.

and also.... how much better are the p90 and mp7 for engineer and anti tank? i think the dao-12 and mk3a1 are already kick a55 enough but is it worth wasting two unlocks on the mp7 and p90???

The HK MP7 is slick as can be, awesome little smg, same for the P90. But carefull mate, the rounds slide down the barrel so smooth you may empty a magazine before you realize it. As far as the utilitarian nature of each weapon, as compared to the shotgun unlocks...it depends on the map, your fighting style and if you are in a decent squad or not. The shotguns limit you to about 30m effective. The smg's arent much farther than that, but they allow you to "walk" the rounds into the target. Not so with the street howitzers.

i see. as you seem to be a bf2 expert, which weapon would you rather be using, those two shotguns or the p90/mp7? also, if you were in my shoes would you unlock those two right now?
hehe no way man, I'm no expert. IMO I suxor at it hehe, but weapons are a hobby of sorts. I wouldnt be in a big hurry to unlock the smgs unless you plan to spend a lot of time as eng or AT. The key is to figure out what class you wanna concentrate on and stick to those unlocks. By the time you promote again, you may be comfortable enough to use default weapons, many do. I on the other hand need all the help I can get hehe so I unlock and use. Finally, dont be suckered by the "level" of unlock. Some first stage unlocks are far better than the second stage (see G3 and F2000 as an example...whole articles can be written on the values of each weapon).

im recently been using the RPk74 a bit more. it seems uber accurate. i was in a standing postion lastnight and capped 3 US dudes. from at least 75 meters. in the head
in prone it is deadly accurate. looks like they Fixed the pkm and made the RPK better
the PKM circa patch 1.21 was like a Scoped Enfield with 100 bullets. it wass insane fun, but they dumbed it down again. it still is a awesome gun. just half as accurate now
i personelly love the mg36, it also is a good run and gun weapon at close range and deadily at prone. but with the 3 round burst. its not as effective has a RPK, in short burst

i would do is get the pkm cuz you need to unlock the base unlock first then you can unlock the SF gun(IDK if you already knew that or no) since you have 2 unlocks i would get the PKM and the P90 both ar like totaly uber in the sercumstances. Say you me on gulf of oman and ur caping for say rock fortification were you are sourunded i would have the pkm, longer range asome if you use it one shot at a time. sercumstance nuber 2 doing the same thing capping a base and you got the p90 you sitting there waiting for the people to get close and then uber oning them, but you do lose ur range. Um since your favorite map is oman i would take the Pkm, and then the p90 soi yea, jesus christ i write alot could i maybe have +1 karma i will +1 for you all pretty please with a cherry on top.
