is there any 1 else out there who has truble gaining the rank of First Sergeant ?
i got all the badge's for some time now, but nothing seems to happen im 5700 point's from
Master Gunnery Sergeant, the rank dosent realy matter but i wonder if there's some bug
since my progres bar is emty 2.
also the Distinguished Service Ribbon, is givin me problems got the time needed as cmd, sl, sm
and the 15 tp i get every time i play, even made the Legion of Merit Ribbon whit 50 tp, since i made
the time Requirements.

You got the knife badge earlier today... "some time" indeed.

You have to have all of the basic combat badges before reaching the global score requirement for ranking up to Master/First Sergeant.

This has been covered ad nauseum on these forums, please try searching for an answer next time.

samew thing is going on w/ me i had all basic befor the pach my friend did as well and he hot first sargeant and i got master sargeant hoping just a glich but ill see when i get to 50000 i guess.

You skipped your basic pistol and went straight to vet, there is a problem with this. Search the forums.

first you need to get 50 kills, and only after this, 7 kills in one round.

what i meen is that the Requirements for Combat Infantry Medal is

IAR: Play for 34 minutes
500 Total time played
Awards: Basic Knife Combat Badge, Basic Pistol Combat Badge, Basic Assault Combat Badge, Basic Anti-tank Combat Badge, Basic Sniper Combat Badge, Basic Spec Ops Combat Badge, Basic Support Combat Badge, Basic Engineer Combat Badge, Basic Medic Combat Badge

but if you allrdy got silver and gold badges will it fail like the rank?

No need for another thread...

There is only a problem if you 'skipped' a basic badge. Skipping a basic badge involves meeting the global kill requirement, ie. 50 kills, before meeting the 'in a round' requirement of 7 kills. This was all before the 1.03 patch however and now the basic requirement for pistol and knife is lowered to 5 which will make sure you can't skip those badges. Also, EA took notice of this problem and forced the basic badge on people who had a vet badge but no basic which should solve all future problems.
