Maybe you'll get to see an ICBM test re-entry or two while you're there. That would be cool...11 Bravo wrote:

I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something. - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.

Just put all the charges into a petrol tax and no-one has the option of evading it, plus it becomes a de facto mileage fee.
Fuck Israel
Is your life really so perfect that you feel that you can now meddle in other peoples decisions? Don't bother responding, I'm not going to cave in and argue with you.Dilbert_X wrote:

You're right. I am Libertarian. You should look up it's meaning, it's the antithesis of fascism, which you obviously delight in pushing on others. No, I will not stand idly by and allow fools like you to tell me how to live my life. You'd get pissy and cry if I tried doing it to you but yet you feel this compelling desire to tell Americans they're fat, that they use too much gas, that they start too many wars. I've got news for you: aside from lowing, and kmar when he's bored, no one gives a rats ass what you have to say. No one likes you Dilbert, and I'm fairly certain that it carries over into your 'real life' too. Just fuck off and die already.Dilbert_X wrote:

States like Texas have been raising vehicle registration fees to pay for road maintenance. Other states would raise income taxes.13rin wrote:

I'm just a really big fan of usage fees. Someone that commutes 100 miles every day should obviously pay more to maintain the roads he uses than someone that commutes 2 miles a day. You just have to hope that all the money collected actually stays in the highway fund.

So your thoughts on toll roads? How do you propose taxing the big rig drivers? The consumer is just going to get hit again. RV industry would be killed. One of the Great American past times of road trips is gone... The whole 16 license freedom thing also gone. So how would you do this? Install a GPS on my cars & motorcycles linked up to my bank account and a kill switch on the vehicle? Off roading gets taxed too? I can't subscribe to this.Jay wrote:

So you feel that others should subsidize your behavior then? How do you propose the roads get repaired? Tax the rich? Who else should pay for it besides the people that use the roads?13rin wrote:

The little old lady that drives her car once a week to go to church shouldn't be forced to pay the same road maintenance fees as you. You use the roads more.
