If one of the heads were to die would the body keep living?

Close this thread before War Man is condemned to hell. As for Macbeth, well, I don't think he believes in that mumbo jumbo anyway.

I wonder if both heads have equal control of the body. Say, one decides to hit the other, would they be able to stop each other before the punch lands? Can one be straight and the other one gay? Wonder what happens when they have to poop. So many questions...

Will the child(ren) survive? Don't most children with huge...umm...issues, usually die?

To my knowledge, after a certain stage in development, even if it were possible to sacrifice one before, it would be fatal for both parties.

Na but seriously. I remember two twins joined by their stomachs and there were many issues because they shared organs. Another was two joined by the heads.

I'm going to come up with a really wrong one here...

If you have sex with them (when they're obviously old enough), would that count as a threesome?

I'd like to know how the nervous system works, as well. Who controls what appendiges and when/how? Can one take control away from the other? Considering they both have a spine and a brain, I bet that complicates things. Then again, if one of the children is severely mentally handicapped, perhaps there will be a dominant twin that controls the whole show and the other is just along for the ride?

There have been enough cases, though, where conjoined twins such as these have led perfectly "normal" lives. Certainly there are hardships, but considering the number of success stories, I think it's possible. Hopefully they'll get the care they need so they don't die early. China's not renowned for its care of the sick and old, though...

Nope. Care for mentally and physically handicapped people is among the worst in the world in China. I'm obviously referring to state care and not any private care that is paid for by families.

It's only a big deal if it gets lots of media attention... all the raping that goes on in the DR Congo doesn't get reported on nearly as widely as it ought to, thus it remains an insignificant problem or a completely unknown problem.
