i don't quite agree with that logic, because what are a bunch of teenage pc gamers going to do about child abuse? 'awareness'? what does awareness matter to someone that isn't ever going to pitch-in a helping hand or some money towards it, anyway? discussing something on a forum is idle chitchat; something to pass the time and amuse yourself (in the loosest use of the word). it's almost not worth saying that one is 'against' or 'disapproves' of child-abuse. but what more? more 'awareness'? oh great.

obviously to us it might not be that effective, but i'm guessing they're showing it on prime-time TV over there where people with jobs and money can contribute. I doubt many will pause their TV and open up their laptop to donate right away, but it might make them remember it when they want to give to charity.

I'm pretty sure it's effective to some extent, otherwise charities wouldn't bother advertising.

Good ad, if it shock you, it mean that it work! Most driving safety as we got down there are shocking, like you see the crash in real time and shit, make you think a little more than just " Dont drink and drive."
