Greetings,
Real quick...after the 1.03 patch, my rank advancement percentage disappeared from the BFQ Headquarters (no surprise, I expected SOMETHING to go wrong there...), but an up-to-date view of my profile on bf2s shows 75.7% (http://bf2s.com/player/Capt.Cuponoodles/), and an updated view of my profile on "another" site (http://www.paradroid.net/bf2stats/bf2st … mp;lang=en) shows 36%...what gives?
I know the "other" site gets updates fairly quickly, as I got an award in BF2, and then checked the site 5 minutes later, and it was listed.

Not sure that this is a patch issue, that's why I listed here.

(wait a tic...that wasn't "real quick"...sorry.)

I don't know if this helps or not, but follow this example that I've seen between a few sites:

Sergeant to Staff Sergeant:
Sergeant requires 2,500 points
Staff requires 5,000 points

some sites say that you have 2,700 total points, so 2,700/5,000 = 54%
other sites say that you have 200 points out of the additional 2,500 needed for the next rank, so 200/2,500 = 8%

Did that make any sense?

Pretty much...I just don't understand how they can be that different...the other site probably need to update SOMETHING to grab the new stats info.
Seems to be looking at pre-1.03 rank advancement percentage...oh well, I need to get a life, I guess.

You're right I think the other site actually still with the old patch ranks, it seems that this is the reason because in the old patch you needed a lot more points for that rank.
BTW, why you need the other site, I can't use it ! it's huge !!!!!!! the pics the letter, what is wrong with those people ? and I use 1280x1024 Res

I use that site from time to time, and they aren't using the old point system.  whats happening is this: BF2s.com takes the points you already have and applies them as progress toward your next rank.  some of the other ststs sites start the progress bar back at 0% after every promotion meaning that the way thier counter works is that they take the points you need to get to the next rank and use those as a percentage towards that next rank totalyy ignoring the points you already have.  hope that clears this up.

It's because this site exams how many your global score from the score of the next rank.
Other sites (and also the progress indicator on the HQ in the game) exam how many you've finished from the amount you should make from previous rank to the new rank.
