Hello guys,

I'm wondering if those components would fit the 64-bit system of Windows 7 I'm planning to buy.

Also, is it worked out optimally? Like for example the motherboard supports 6GB/s data for the SATA HD, and also the harddisk itself supports 6GB/s.

I'd want to know if the CPU and the RAM will work optimally together.
Also for the PSU... I think 550W for this setup is a little too much, but too much won't harm I guess, or is it a waste of money?

Thank you on forehand,

yes, that mobo is am3 as is the cpu, ram will work with that.

550w is probably spot on for that build.

Thank you,

One small question... The motherboard only has a 4 pin connector for the CPU's fan. Would it matter if the CPU's fan has a 6 pin connector?

are you sure about it being 6pin? AFAIK there's only 3 and 4 pin, which both work in each other.

Also with that HDD is a green model and thus rather slow. 6gbps is only interesting for SSDs

No it ain't for gaming.

I'm sure the CPU fan connector will fit to the motherboard so no issues there.

About the HDD... Yea it is only 5400 rpm, so would that really be an issue for the speed of the pc? I mean, if the bandwidth is maxed (6 Gb/s) for the motherboard (also 6Gb/s) then it's alright? Or am I seeing this totally wrong.

Thanks alot

Thats just what the motherboard is capible of handling. Not what the the drive can deliver.

adding to the above. You'll maybe get 60MB/s-ish from that drive

X6's aren't much more, and not much difference in price. You can however unlock cores on certain boards with certain batches of CPUs.

AMD does very well for workstations. In fact that build will play GRID awesomely. I've ahh, benchtested a few.
