...lol. it's a bit narcissistic isn't it? Fuck everyone else, come and comment on my photos.burnzz wrote:

Sites like flickr aren't for having a personally designed page. It's uniform so that the focus is on the photos. You setup groups and comment on each others photos.

I just don't want to add on another subscription. I'll still browse and comment.

Understandable. Flickr really should get with the times and up the photo limit past 200.

Gimmick. For one, LED light isnt sufficient to get you fast enough shutter speeds to do much handheld if youre at 1:1 or more. Two, the light sources arent strong enough to be diffused, which is essential with heads that small (or any size really) if you want any kind of decent looking light. Stick with natural light or bigger flashes on an arm like this.
what a big diffuser! yeah LED is what was on those great priced beauty dishes we were looking at a few months ago also i think. no buenoz
i made a photo page recently ... it's lacking hoomans atm

OOOOOOh and the ipad deserves a second glance! as adobe announced apps for touch screen ipad

http://www.pdnonline.com/pdn/gear/Adobe … 2672.shtml
Adobe Color Lava for Photoshop, Adobe Eazel for Photoshop and Adobe Nav for Photoshop unite the fun and interactive experience of touch devices with the power and precision of Photoshop by enabling users to create custom color swatches, paint directly onscreen and drive popular Photoshop tools from tablet devices. These applications take advantage of the iPad’s touch screen for a truly immersive, tactile, on-the-go experience, and expand upon inroads made by Adobe in the mobile and tablet market initiated with Photoshop Express, Adobe Ideas and Adobe Connect Mobile.
wallpaper,,, what's next for you? perhaps high speed----

I sent some of you a message on flickr about the MostlyPhoto group. It's a group centered around this podcast. They have contest every week, and they give away $100 gift certificates ..so it's a good excuse to get out and shoot. This weeks theme is Flags if you're interested. All you need to do is add it to the group pool to enter. I know we've got some talented people here that certainly have a shot at taking one of the prizes.
.. and just in case you missed the other post .

Might be some money in it for you WP. That's a rather unique interpretation.

Just add it to the Mostlyphoto group and tag it flag. Nothing to lose.

i see the need for a telephoto. i so like my 17-40, but this picture would have been served better by a 70-200 or summat . . .

Amazon runs a special every day on certain programs. It's usually a significant cut.
Also, they give away a pay app everyday in their android market if you're interested.
