I'm not missing the big picture at all. I fully understand the risk those players impart for the GOP. If I were a candidate (as opposed to whatever the hell she is), I'd be calling her and telling her to get back to Wasilla and STFU. The point I was making was limited to this single instance and the classless reaction against her...simply because it's her.burnzz wrote:

it's not the air that escapes when she opens here mouth, it's the fact that she's down the road, soaking up the attention, when a bona-fide candidate announces.
it's not just palin - it's palin, bachman, trump, teabaggers and the like that are shitting on Republicans, doing far more damage than any democrat could.
the right wingnuts are driving away undecideds who may lean right.
say, how many presidential elections have you actually seen?
No the classy thing for the left to do was admit they fucked up and apologize for trying to make her look stupid while in fact, not knowing what the hell they are talking about themselves.FEOS wrote:
I can't imagine she'll get the nomination. Just the thought makes me throw up in my mouth a little.
But seriously. She said something that was historically correct. She could quite possibly be the beneficiary of coincidence of her own gaff and historical fact, or she could have actually intended to say that. Who knows?

yup, "oh wait"...democrats are royally fucked up.Jaekus wrote:
First rule of politics: never admit you're wrong. Unless you royally fuck up.
Oh, wait...
Nope, it is PEOPLE from both sides that are fucked up. As it is, liberal ideology, regardless as to who is toting the banner will always be as fucked up as those representing it.Jaekus wrote:
It's BOTH sides of politics. You'd have to be pretty blind not to see that.
Oh, wait...
all of today's politics is classless. who needs class when you have bullet points and base? honestly, it's both sides pandering to the primaries.FEOS wrote:

nope not illegal, and he will not go to jail for it. On the other hand it is not illegal for his constituents to turn their backs on him and run him out on a rail either.Macbeth wrote:

Why should they? He cheated on his wife, not embezzle the treasury or something.lowing wrote:

30% of New Yorkers need to get lives. An exclusive NY1-Marist poll shows that 51 percent of city voters want Weiner to remain in office. Only 30 percent believe he should resign and 18 percent are unsure.
