i'm not going to get into an argument about why i think it's tragic that funding for the young generation's education has been slashed to shit because of an unfeasible banking bubble... nor am i going to make any of the obvious and self-evident arguments against the absolutely piss-poor management of our new coalition government's education budget (oxford university just pretty much unanimously declared a vote of no-confidence in the education minister, along with several other major universities)... whether or not you like arts, the funding situation is tragic. personal bias aside, it's a fucking shame that a lot of people are missing out (especially people that could never, perhaps, afford postgraduate study at all, despite their aptitude).Dilbert_X wrote:
