Old pokemon cards

Hey guys,

About 11 or 12 years ago I was into pokemon and I bought like 200+ pokemon cards (so these are original). So the other day I was going through boxes of junk and I came across all these cards in new condition. Does anybody know if I can get anything for them, anything significant enough to go to the trouble of trying to find a buyer? I donno, they're originals and they're 10 years old or so...

TLDR; is a box of original pokemon cards worth anything?

Some guys are selling packets of rare cards for $950

Thing is, I don't know crap about pokemon, but if I could get $100 for it I think the effort might be worth it.

I would doubt it, there are millions of basically every card possible. I dont think any card is actually rare

Meh, the kids around here I've asked said they'd give me $25 dollars per card for some of my rarer cards I don't want to "exploit" them if they're not worth anything.

If they are authentic rare cards such as ones you receive for going to the pokemon events back in the 90s, then yes, You'll get a good cut.

Also, if they are brand new, you'll get a good cut too.

tldr, shove em on a ebay auction, make sure to put NEW and AUTHENTIC etc into the title, and see what you get...
