I have got almost every card from the first series, but practically none of them are first edition. Most of my Jungle and Fossil set ones are first edition but they're in Dutch, so that probably limits any potential buyers, lol.

The one i got hooked on was Silver. Had a sick team on that, but a few were second gen.
Think it was like Tyrannitar, Zapdos, Mewtwo, Dragonite, Gyarados and Lugia I think.

I remember I looked mine all up in the collector's guide or whatever it was back in the day. My cards are "worth" $225 or so (don't worry, I got them for free). I just wish we'd had a garage sale or something to sell them back when people would have paid that, since I never actually played the card game.
