I'm from Norway (in Europe), and my ping showed 160, but acted like just 40, so no lag for me while playing. Only thing that bugged me was that a bunch of statpadders arrived and started padding away on the arti-island, but now, tnx to ss, their accounts will probably get wiped.

I apologize for the statpadders. I opened up BF2CC and saw everyone leaving because there were 4 or 5 [CW] douches in there. I'll try to keep a closer eye on that.

Well, one of the hard drives in our BF2 server took a crap. We should be back online soon and I hope some of you guys come to play with us. Here's what the company said:

"About 90 minutes ago we were made aware of a Hard Drive failure on AYS2, which your game server was located on.

A replacement hard drive has been installed, and an OS Reload is currently taking place. Once complete, we will be loading the game engines needed back onto this machine, and installing all instances involved.

We greatly apologize for this inconvenience. Please be assured we are doing everything we possibly can to make sure your services come back online as quickly as possible."

I just told them that I have loads of screenies and that I would report them to EA, then they were gone.

Our server is back up now. Interestingly enough, the operating system installed on each server must be inspected by a tech from EA before installing ranked servers on the system. The company said it took FOREVER to get an EA tech to do this.
