I haven't truly been to Baltimore in a while but there are nice parts. I've been there for two concerts recently and they were pretty great venues, it's definitely more of a middle-class/not pretentious douchey Type-A personality vibe than DC.
i did the philly cheesesteak thing once. cool little trip. i like blue collar areas versus the other stuff.
