that's a crazy question

each one of my finalist essays had about 50-75 items in the bibliography... and there were 6 of those
and that's for my third year alone

Good job Uzi....
I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something. - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.
ty homies. they published the entire list at once so you can see everyone's
about 15 people got a 1:1, then mixed 2:1's and 2:2's for about 150 people... then like 10-15 3:1's and fails.
sucks to be them today i guess

what's all that mean, 1:1, 2:1?
degree classifications.
1:1 - summa cum laude
2:1 - magna cum laude
2:2 - cum laude
3:1 - pass, basically
it equates to roughly 70-75% average+ for 1:1, based on strength of work
60% average for 2:1
50% average for 2:2
40% average for the 3:1 pass
anything marked above 80% is generally considered publishable for peer-review in an academic journal - the percentages DO NOT correspond to a '100% test score' type system. getting above an 80 is basically unheard of - extremely rare - and the proportion of students that get awarded the 1:1 are, well, about represented above... about 15-25 in a class of 200.

apparently the 70% borderline between a 1:1 and a 2:1 corresponds to a 3.7-3.8 GPA
my final average was a 75.6%

my sister got a 1:1
♥
you can pass with a 40%?
technically yeah, but it won't be worth the paper it's printed on. all the competitive graduate jobs will demand a 2:1 (60%+), i.e. all the inner city firms and big-scale companies that suck up the graduate pool. and nice tsex... where from and what in? congrats are due to her

design and visual arts it was back when she started, at salford uni. basically graphic design with some other bits thrown in. on the face of it that might not seem as impressive compared to a London uni or something, salford is terrible but the design part seems good. lots of writing and stuff involved too, so she's done very well
