The purple heart IMO is for being so bored you'll do anything to smile. That's how I got mine. On Kubra Dam all you have to do is take buggies off the dam they blow up, shoot 5 people, let the F-15 bomb you and there it is. I was actually at 25,000 points when I got it, not a noob. Just bored, and thats my $0.02.

i dont have one yet at GNRYSGT, but im pretty surprised being as i suck lol.... like f*cking 3 deaths per kill >.<
I think the req's should be higher for it, it's not hard to join a server and find out the team your assigned to has only one flag left with the other team kicking the crap out of it. So unless you're going to switch teams like a dick you're going to get your score messed up bad. Maybe a 1:20 ratio?
I finally "won" this medal yesterday...I had a REALLY bad day...I had something like 23 KDAs in the round...I couldn't kill anyone, but I lamed most of 'em enough to get KDAs...sigh...worse, I was second or lead my team at the end of the round...lol
We had a lame team, but it was my shot that was off...or lag...or ???
I DID defrag immediately thereafter and it seemed to help...I am also experiencing a disk failure on my boot disk (I now have to kick the side of the case after any power-down situations...lol...I can HEAR the head resetting)...I could come up with more excuses, but it came down to a bad day where I didn't quit trying.

Purple hearts are silly in this game. I don't have one and hopefully never will. You'd think they would have made a prestigeous award like that have a little more...well, prestige. It should mark some sort of great achievement, not a point of great humiliation.
I never had it luckily. When i was on my badge quest though i tried to get it but luckily looked on here first and saw a thread saying you shouldnt try and get it. I hope to never get it, if you heading to 1:4 then hide for the rest of the match or be a sniper.

I think I saw this earlier up in the posts, but I tihnk it would be cool if you got it from killing 5 people with under 50% health. But yeah.... I would definately get it then.

When you are revived, you don't get a death and same happens if the round ends when you are critically wounded.
I got my Purple heart by CHOICE becuase I want all the medals/badges/ribbons. Call me a noob if you want, I'll just be laughing when bullets go through your head.
