we dont want reality, that would be mental, miniguns spraying practicly molten metal in a laser like spray about a foot wide. Even if you missed the person, the molton shapnel is sure to kill tham. No Battlefield is not about realism but if you are going to make the blackhawk out of tinfoil then at least put a half decent gun on the side.
I used to love the Blackhawk. Now I hover portside to someone in a jeep and my gunner can't kill him even if I am perfectly steady. The minigun is now worse than the MGs on the MEC chopper. Please someone make a petition for the miniguns in the BH, and we will all +1 karma you and sign it!

agreed it is not a sim it jus seems a waste to put a bh on then pretty much remove it from gameplay, how often does it just sit empty? its like taking the assualt kit, take away the rifle, the grenades and the knife then reduce the accuracy and damage of the remaining pistol, before giving them 50% the life of everybody else !? would it not be better to give them a chaingun and 50% life?

My own opinion is that playing vehicles on infantry maps is a kind of n00bness , sorry me but it is my imho . You don't(or cannot - decide yourself) play infantry , so you want your point vehicle back . I play Kark\Mash\Sharki only as a troop , even Mashtuur before v.1.20 . So I , as a MEC troop on Mashtuur , am against increasing power of BH's guns , MEC wouldn't have anything like BH on Mash. Only very good team could deal with USMC BH v.1.12 , so please , leave it .
