yeah only about 24 hours ago, and i'm not expecting instant results. just a bit alarming to see it getting just bigger. probably not going to be able to have an extraction yet, considering the extent of the swelling/infection. balls! i hate the constant weak and faint feeling of being doped on painkillers, can't stand the thought of doing it for a week...

The pain lessened after a couple of days for me once the antibiotics kicked in, eating food was the worst, I imagine it's what shifty eating food would look like.

hahaha yeah. i'm literally just doing a tesco direct now for loads of soup and noodles... don't wanna go shopping looking like the elephant man!
i went today and, predictably, they said it needs a full week or something for the infection to go down because it's made my face MAHOOSIVE in the space of about 24 hours. just gotta stick at the antibiotics. thankfully it won't hurt or flare up again in agony after this because, uuh, that intense throbbing jaw-fuck was like the tooth-nerve's last samurai stand, or something. i have to move out of my place before july 1st though so really pinched for time.
btw is it just me or... does nothing strike the fear of god into you like the brief time when you're lay in the chair with your mouth open, before any procedure begins? fuck me i'm never nervous about dentist or medical appointments but that little interval is a real lurcher. petrifying. i've been less panicked whilst overdosing and less afraid when getting arrested. the smell of the room and the way the dentist puts on his little mask and his eye-goggles as if he's going to bring out a surgical saw and fucking shear off your lower-jaw or something... christ.
