Dateline: Karkand.
I was running around the first flag and shooting shit up... this guy with the clan tag [mp] comes around the corner with a pump shotgun... i lay into him, but he kills me. Remember, he's using a pump shotgun.

... I scratch me head... figure it some kind of bug or something; respawn and find him capping the flag. I kill him (after a mags worth of ammo). I try and grab his kit to see what the hell is up with this pump/auto/crazy shotgun. I press the 'switch kit' button and WHAM! bf2 crashes.
I think I may have found one of those people who have the 'uberkit' where they have every gun in one kit. Odd indeed.

maybe not the uberkit...but maybe they changed the kit configs, but if someone uses their kit you crash

Nah, you can still pick up kits. The MK3A1 is an automatic shotgun that can do great close range damage quickly. If you tried to auto him you just may have mostly missed. The MK3A1 can end you in one very easily.

As for the crash. A coincidence maybe. I'd have to have more info/evidence to suggest a uberkit/hack.

NO CHEAT GOING ON that gun will rip you a new ass hole no problem close range your gone. but cheats are going on plus bf2 has some mad map bugs as i have seen guys use em 2.but we all get a case of is this guy a cheat or is he just having a good day.all i can say is if you have to cheat to play online games you just a sad little spotty freak thats going no place in life.

Played US engi abit latley ..... the pump is a seriesly flawed weapon I can take down people on a single headshot up close and personal ..... or drop them at range as well .........

like I said, it -was- a pump shotgun. the model, the sound, and how it operated... for all intensive purposes it was a pump. but when I died it said 'mk3a1'.

Sounds weird, beeng. the crash may have been a coincidence... but perhaps not. I've had some weird deaths like that though. I see the guy with an AK101 and it says I died(by the same guy) from an L85A1.

I dont think it was a cheat, I've noticed that the weapons shown that killed is seriously flawed...ex. when I lay AT mines and someone runs them over, sometimes it will say AT mine and sometimes it will say whatever vehicle im in or weapon im holding.

I agree with you blacky, while in game iv'e been in a APC and some times it will show the player killed by me (but) it shows him dyeing in the humvee or whatever even some times on multible kills
shows one guy dyeing by jeep and other by APC .

EA still has some serious kill alocation problems .

although i dont think this guy may have been cheating ( but how can you prove it ? ) as well these weapons and your connection speed / lag spells that we all seem to get will do weird things too.

Nonono, that's not the same! If you're in an apc and someone you shot was in another vehicle or nearby, he is getting killed by the explosion of that vehicle that you shot to pieces. That's why you kill some people and it says humvee, although you're in an apc. That's no bug, that is wanted by EA.

beeng, from what I've seen today, I firmly believe you. I was killed alongside my buddy, he shot me with a Med Kit gun and my buddy with a AT Kit gun, at the same time!! ... It's all getting a bit freaky out there

Hey maybe you were wrong in you observation of what he was using. Did you get a screenshot of him or a recording of the sound it made when it owned you? Well then, maybe it was the MK3A1 after all.

No recordings or screens, I was too busy trying to stay alive. It did however, sound like a pump shotgun and as I said before it looked like a pump too.
