I had a Daemon Tools program to mount an image of a game, and Punk Buster had a problem with it and froze my whole computer upon entering a server with Punkbuster enabled.

i use daemon tools to mount my game as i am fed up of putting disc in taking disc out and it getting scratched, the problem you had is rare and you can download anti-blaxx to solve your problem

all it will let you do is run games without getting that PB error, or any other error and its a great tool

hey I got a message from ea today offering me a new CD key for the Gf. you have to read this to understand how dumb they are and how naive they think people are.  We buy a game from a store with a public key and  this is how EA resolve it.

If you wish to have a new serial code issued to you. Please mail our Warranty department the following information:

-The [Proof of Purchase] page from the manual, or if that is not available the game disk.
Note:  If you send the game disk, please send it using a traceable method as Electronic Arts is not responsible for products lost in transit.
-A letter explaining that you need a replacement serial number.
-A money order or personal check in the amount of $10.00 USD.
-Include full contact information:
-First and Last Name
-Return Address (Including City, State, and Zip Code)
-Phone Number
-E-mail Address

You must mail in your request to the following address:
Electronic Arts Customer Warranty
209 Redwood Shores Pkwy
Redwood City, CA 94065

Once all of the information has been received, our Warranty Department will process your request and e-mail as well as standard mail you a serial number.  If you mailed the game disks to us, the disks will be returned to you shortly.  NOTE:  If you fail to include all of the requested items, it will prevent us from processing your request.

Jeff please read the information provided in the previous messages. I was not banned for in game reasons. I was banned because the CD key that was in my box at time of purchase is known to punkbuster for being a public key.
I am asking for a new key that is all. If you want I will send my box and cds back to you for verification of there authenticity.
I HAVE TRIED going through punkbuster but they were dismisive and closed the complaint forum down. this is a EA problem not a punkbuster problem.


I SAY THIS FUCK YOU EA FUCK YOU PUNKBUSTER/EVENBALANCE I refuse to pay AGAIN even $10 its retarded I almost belive its a scam.

Blizzard does the same shit, all the companies do that crap.  And the really stupid part is that people pay that shit to get another CD key, so the companies keep doing it.  As long as there's money to be made there will be assholes to milk it from the masses.
