I thought I would have been a First Sergeant by now with 28,000 points

I reached the rank of Master Sergeant with all but one of my Basic Badges, the Explosives Badge.

The UBAR stats that I to become a First Sergeant you need to have all basic badges and be a Gunnery Sergeant. I just recieved my last basic badge recently as a Master Sergeant, and did not rank up yet.

Is this because I am a Master Sergent and needed to be a Gunnery Sergeant to rank up to First Sergent.

Man, I've said the word Sergeant too much in this thread

I got a feeling I've missed my chance to be a First Sergeant, booo!!!

Anyone?

even if you didnt search, then UBAR.

you cannot rank up from master sergeant to first sergeant.

You have to have your basic badges before you reach the 20000 points mark.

I agree...so many people think they can rank up in this way...dear God no! There would be hardly any Master Sergeants around if this was the case!

Yah what Thomas said. Besides, it's not the end of the world if you missed out on being First sergeant because there's nothing to miss out on. There's no extra benifit in being 1st sergeant except for getting priority when applying for commander but that's all nothing more. So keep yah head up and game on.

I know that this quick begger-post would attract some narrowed eyes and pimp-slap burns, but... ... I did it anyway

I was just in need of some reassurance that I am definately a Master Sergeant till 50,000 pts, and this is the case... I can live with it now that you have show me the way, for that I thank you Thomas, fierce, TheDarkRaven, and khmer (well done on that First Sergeant Rank ;D)
