logitech make sense for people with bigger hands, though... after all, they're palm-mice. razer's offerings are mostly for people with long fingers like anal probes.

As i said, small hands. Palms and fingers. So i palm my mouse and i still prefer the razer.
Although when you look at hardware quality logitech beats razer easily. But as far as personal preference goes, i like the feel of the razer more.

e: nope wait, i dont palm it completely, so i guess i do have probing fingers then.

I have long fingers, but I prefer to cup them in my hands.

If you lay on your side for long enough and your arm falls asleep, you can play "howdy stranger".

Suggest another FPS multiplayer team based game that has come out recently that would score higher than TF2 @ a LAN.

More people could play @ the lan cause it was free too.

i just got some new teflon feet for my G5 today and it works like a dream... just like it did 5 years ago
Oooh, where from? Mine is still solid after 4 years or so, but perhaps it could use some new feet.

logitech tech support send them free if you open a ticket, or you can be a mug and pay like £10 for some 'gaming super-duper brand' teflon pads by someone like steelseries.

no problem, i really recommend it. they make a huge difference and you obviously don't realize how much they've worn away because it's so gradual. on this hard mouse-mat (i don't use soft) it really makes a huge change to have some fresh+clean teflon pads. i had to turn my system pointer settings way down because i now no longer have any drag-resistance or friction.

Except that the g9 is kinda uncomfy for people with big hands, a friend of mine cannot use my g9 since his whole palm rests on the mouse pad instead of the mouse palm rest, and that can be quite annoying.

my dad has always had those and i think they feel weird... they're pretty small and metal, right? they do feel very odd. nice quality, though, but not sure i could game with them. i think it's a weight-balance issue, again... the g5 is pretty much perfect in that regard with the weight-cartridge.

Not really small and metal. It's all plastic but it does have a certain weight to it, and yeah, the quality is great.

It did take me about a week to get used to it. I found it a little heavy and weird in my hand. I'm so used to it now that if it ever broke I would seriously consider replacing it with another one right away. Now, the weight and feel are awesome to the way I play (semi palm player). Still, I'd be willing to try another mouse sometime for shiz and giz.

I had an MX1000.
Now I have an MX1100, which seems to be the successor, because Amazon didn't have the MX1000 in stock anymore.
The new one has a heavy metal scroll wheel and DPI buttons.

Running both with Setpoint + überoptions worked like a charm.
