I changing some of my keys about in the options and noticed 3D map was left alt. What is the 3D map? I pressed the left alt in game and nothing happens?

it toggles whether or not the flags show up on your screen.

the pictures above flags that tell you what army flag they are and how far away
You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else.
the 3d-map is just to see where the cp's and stuff are.....(not on the minimap)

it's what shows u floating flags and friendly names and so on if it's off you will not see any flags far away, if it's on you will let me know if you need more

I have it set as home, I like to keep all my keys to left hand as close as possible makes gameplay much easier

The 3d Map isn't only flags. it's also the red skulls for friendly mines and Claymores, also the supply drop has one. And don't forget the resupply and health bags have a 3d map icon aswell.
