That misuse of pepperoni almost deserves a jail rape.
I wanted to make a japanese beef bowl, which is normally made with veal (any other meat is fine too, but veal is preferred) but all the beal they had at the grocery store were sausages and i needed thin strips or tiny bits, not sausages.
So i looked for a different kind of meat (anything that was already cut into bits or something that i could easily cut into strips/bit and then i noticed a pack at the very bottom, it was heart.
Since i'm home alone (so i won't gross anybody out with it) and willing to try anything i decided to make it with heart (of a cow or sheep, not sure).
The meat actually doesn't taste that bad. pretty good in fact.
