Bulls are VERY Territorial. Great whites aren't interested in humans at all. That's because they require shit tons of energy (in the form of fat) to function. And humans, relatively speaking, don't have that much fat.andros wrote:
true, aren't bulls considered more aggressive than great whites actually? maybe not, just remember reading it somewhere.Kmar wrote:

never really watched it but sharks are pretty cool.
not much too worry about as far as attacks go. in the US, cali and florida are the only states (guess hawaii too). great whites in cali, tiger sharks in hawaii, and bull sharks in florida. (as far as one's that are mostly known for attacks, i may be wrong though)
only ever seen a great white once around malibu, massive looking thing (guess around 18 ft maybe, 3,000lbs?). last time someone died out here was like earlier this year i believe and that was the first time in a while.
Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
Florida leads the way in shark attacks, but that probably has a lot to do with how many beach visitors we get each year.
*i shouldn't have said a lot more..
