So two nights ago, I was going to a party, and my friend in his little red Corolla got pulled over, but him and my other friends weren't searched, he was only warned to replace a broken taillight and then the cops tracked my car and pulled us over later after we left the party, and then searched my car and found nothing, then when the other 4 cars left, he asked us all our phone numbers(he said the entire conversation was being recorded before anything happened). Why would they need that on record?

- Why did this cop ask for our numbers when I get pulled over?
so they can spy on you
He thought you guys were hot and wanted to hook up.
And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.
That's what I figured, what a crock of shit. I'm gettin real sick of the overpopulation of cops in this fucking state, it's like the beginning of a Liberal dictatorship.Spearhead wrote:

Maryland traffic cops are merciless
Surely you didn't have to give it? Or could have just lied. Doesn't sound legal.
Why was your vehicle searched?

Because they figured we were the ones with the drugs since I just drove off when they pulled over my friendwest-phoenix-az wrote:

And ever since I first got pulled over, I have made a point of not carrying a single thing onboard that can get me in trouble when this shit happens.
Yeah my friend gave his house number, I don't have one anymore though and I'm not sure if they're anal enough to check for lying to an officer so I won't take my chancesFFLink wrote:

I've heard State Troopers are actually human but I've only ever been pulled over by PG County cops.jsnipy wrote:

You've got 4 types of cops running around at any one time: State Troopers, PG County Police, Bowie Police(or other individual city police depending on location), or Park Rangers(not sure where they really have jurisdiction though). All we're missing is the federal fucking marshals, and they probably drive unmarked cars anyway
When I got pulled over this time, they had at least two cops and a car for every person in my car.

Not a house phone, no, my family got rid of that four or five years ago since we all have cell phones. A lot of people are doing it nowadaysAussieReaper wrote:

I've never had a bad run-in with MoCo cops. I did get involved with the Park Police once, my friends and I were about to smoke weed in a park when two cops and a german shepherd walk up and ask to inspect the car. The bud and pipe belonged to one of the people in the car and he didn't come clean so they booked my other friend who owned the car._j5689_ wrote:

Fuckin' shady, wouldn't be that kids friend anymore. And yeah, the first (and so far only; only my license for about 10 months now) time I got pulled over he asked for my number as well... I guess if I get pulled over again I'll try and remember to ask him why he needs it.Hurricane2k9 wrote:
