Ok I'm a tech noob, but tonight playing bf2 I was curious why my ping was so good on the bf2s server in dallas, I live on a small island in the West Indies....Here are some speedtest results.

And using servers closer to me the ping gets higher.

When I do the where my ip thingy I get

Then Tucker PM'd me and said my IP said Newport RI in the states, which makes sense with regards to the pings.

And then look at these 2 links

So what does that all mean, is my internet coming all the way from the states?

i would suspect it's a relay, that your local ISP is merely forwarding your connection, and raping your bank account because they own a router.

I have to pay 157 US a month for this shit...I'ts the fastest package lol...

So basically, they're raping a signal from all the way up there, then distributing to customers down here? Why don't they use something closer like Miami?
