But it seems to be one of them films you either love or hate a bit like marmite.
I quite liked it, just thought it was a bit weird.

Robin hood (2010) 4/10
Aside from the movie being a cluttered mess of ideas and themes poorly put together, the movie also completely butchers history.
In this movie: Robin hood was the one who suggested the Magna Carter. King John invokes Divine right of kings 400 years before the theory came about. The Angevin Empire doesn't exist and a united "France" attempts to invade England. Robin Hood rallies the English troops with ideas of liberty that didn't even exist for another 600 years. And an army of orphan children and teens led by a woman helps repulse the French army.

I also hate it how in every medieval movie a single sword swipe kills someone. A sword wouldn't be able to get through most medieval armor that easily. You had to stab someone through the joints to kill them and if you managed to get your sword through you wouldn't be able to pull it out with one arm.
That and hand grenades that explodes into fireballs makes me so angry.

We only watched it because a goofy acquaintance of ours said the scariest part was that "it could really happen." The wife and I laughed a lot at that.
