berbatov certainly isn't meh. he's got to be one of the best touches, controllers in the PL, and look how often he gets tackled or rather how often he doesn't. and if he doesn't care, top goalscorer who doesn't care is pretty impressive but unfortunately that's the problem with bandwagons. what do you want him to do, have a t-shirt under his united shirt on with "i care" written on it to show the cameras? he isn't a box to box player, but he is still fantastic.

and Fergie obviously does like him otherwise he'd have been offloaded long ago, but with Hernandez's form he'd have kept Rooney out the team

I'm not a band wagoner, and coming from someone who doesn't watch united all that much don't take my opinion too strongly, just making observations, found it strange that Fergie would leave him out of a CL final squad ahead of Owen, I don't think there was an injury issue was there?
I suppose what I mean is I don't think it would make any difference if you didn't have Beratov, you can get on just fine without him, the only games which you may have lost without him last season off the top of my head are the liverpool one and may be blackpool away?...There might be more, but he just doesn't seem too important to united from an outsiders perspective.

i know you're not, but that's what even some united fans say about him on their little gaywagon. it's boring... his style of play is different, so what. it was surprising to see him not in the squad for the CL final but fergie's probably got a better idea of who should and shouldn't play than me.

Actually just looking at last seasons stats, I'm being a little harsh to ol' berba, he did score some more important goals...I dunno I just don't notice him, probably because he wasn't selected in the big games that I would watch of United. He either doesn't seem to get picked or doesn't do so well against the other top 4 or 5, liverpool game aside where he is impressive obviously.
