God dammit, don't move this to the complaint thread just yet until you read the rest of it.
Supposedly, all my friends and people in my neighborhood who have DSL Verizon, our servers or w/e modems or again w/e they call it are like....not working. I mean the little sign that goes green when you're connected to the rest of the world doesn't show up so that means the internet doesn't work. For the past 3 freaking days. My friend said he called yesterday and and 45 minutes Verizon said the they had some power failure and were supposed to fix it today! TODAY: THURSDAY 18 2006 MAY (that's not even MLA format)
So is anyone else getting this crap. I had to switch to dial up AOL!!!!! I'm too scared to play BF2 on dial up, I don't even think it's possible and with my Sniper rifle K at 1.69 i'm not going to lose it due to uber lag. So like I said, is anyone else geting this crap from Verizon. Oh and top of that, they're billling my parents for the days it isn't working. If it doesn't boot up by tomorrow i'm calling and asking for four free days of nonstop broadband.
EDIT:
actually this "dial-up" feels like broadband....maybe paying for the AOL Verizon deal wasn't so bad. Well after catching up on internet stuff I might try BF2 to see if I can own without lag. Still, is ne1 getting this crap?
