Happened to me, but i was shooting at a mi-28 with a .50 cal, it blew me up, i got switched, and the chopper blew up and i got 2 teamkills with, of course, to punishs

I shot at someone with a sniper that was really far away. Red letters and everything. Teamkill, and punish. I guess it was the red and blue glitch thing, it was a while ago though.

That is why I wish the the teamkill message said what you got teamkilled with.  I think a lot of unwarrented punishes would go away if people realized they were killed by exploding vehicles instead of just a teamkill message.

Was playing Songhua one day.  Rollin in my APC...grabbin flags.  I get to a flag, see another empty apc spawn, so I left my damaged apc, and grabbed the new one.  I look at my old apc, and decide to finish it off so someone could grab it an the original point with full armor.  I shoot it a few times...watch it catch flames...and leave it, and just at that second, an idiot teammate jumps in it...it explodes, (so I really didn't have time to warn his ignorant ass) kills him, and he punishes me.

Bad times...

there's a way you can modify the files in BF2 so that in the text it'll report what you were team-killed by. i have the file which i can e-mail if anyone wants it. just PM me your e-mail.

ill tell you what i WANT to do, tho... be US on Wake, be commander, put an arty on the carrier deck, then switch to China and see if i get the kills

I tried the grenade thing in Singleplayer...didn't work.

lol..probably a month back, me and chikyuushoujoarujuna were having a 3-round-long sniper duel in karkand. just when i popped out of cover, took my aim, and shot at arujuna, a friendly sniper ran by and i ended up giving my teammate a clean headshot. i was kinda pissed off, wanted to knife that teammates ass..

Might be dangerous, you need to make sure that you can switch the side (player# on your side is larger than the other side). otherwise you will get a load of punishes.

i want to TV missle a chopper: what happens my TV missle goes straight through the chopper (anoying glitch)
and i hit the Jet that was also trying to shoot the chopper.   I TK'd the jet and the Jet wreckage hit the chopper is wanted to kill so i end up with 1 TK and 2 kills a laugh and a good story

I've had a few annoying teamkills, especially when you set a vehicle on fire trying to destroy it and a teammate hops in or when you toss a grenade at what you think are enemies or were enemies and friendlies try to fetch it loke a dog before it goes off.

The story, however, that comes to mind dates back to pre 1.2 when the blackhawk ruled the roost on Mashtuur, and a squad memeber and I were driving in a vodnik down to the south gas station (I was on the MEC) and I arrive to see a full blackhawk winding up it's engines to take off with another 3 or 4 people jumping frantically trying to get in even though it was full. I take aim on the blackhawk with the vodnik and ram it before it could get off the ground (thinking I'd get the kills). Instead the pilot got 2 kills for the two of us and 8(!!) team kills. Everyone seemed to get a good laugh out of it, but man... -32 points instantly can't make anyone feel good.
