that is the bears strategy. force the offense into making short plays all the way up the field, counting on the fact that theyll make a mistake before they get to the endzone. honestly though, rodgers struggles against the bears. we play them twice a year and rodgers is just your run of the mill, average quarterbackKmar wrote:
One of those interceptions went off of the receivers shoe and bounced back up . The packers receivers dropped plenty of balls that were right in their hands. However, he still threw for 247 yards, and even ran one in himself. Completely shut him down? ..lol right. He picked them apart. Great strategy.HaiBai wrote:
rodgers threw two interceptions and no touchdowns in that game... and he had like a 50% pass completion percentage. bears completely shut him down.
anyway, the only time rodgers had a rating of over 100 against the bears was in 2008. so they definitely have a solid strategy of keeping him under control
That's good. Because that is Rodger's strategy as well. It's been working out pretty good for him.
2009 he was the 4th rated qb
2010 he was the 3rd rated qb
2011 he is number 2
Rodgers is the NFL's all-time career leader in passer rating during both the regular season (98.4), and in the post-season (112.6) – among passers with at least 1,500 and 150 pass attempts respectively. He also owns the league's lowest career pass interception percentage for quarterbacks during the regular season (1.99%) Rodgers completed 24 of 39 pass attempts for 304 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win and was named Super Bowl XLV MVP
"Average run of the mill"? c'mon man. You cant actually believe that.

he is when he plays the bears... he posted ratings of like 95 and 85 against the bears in the regular season, with a 55 in the nfc championship game.Kmar wrote:

rodgers is definately an elite quarterback, who id put right behind brady and manning, but we were discussing what defenses can actually make rodgers struggle. the bears are one of those teams
Struggle is relative. I asked "so. is there a d that can stop Rodgers?"
I'll be impressed when someone actually stops him. It will happen, inevitably at some point. I just don't see it now. Bears included.

OT; despite losing Asumaghua, i think we still have a decent defense. our offense is on the descent, though . . .
actually not really a fan of him or greenbay. But ofc you can't compliment an obvious star without ken thinking about dick in the mouth.

had McFadden on my fantasy team last year... he and Brandon Lloyd were huge parts of why I won that league. He's definitely a hell of a player
