Hi,

Ive started playing wake...I'm a fairly good pilot when it comes to jet v jet, but on Wake I see people on jets getting massive scores by MGing and bombing certain spawn points/heavy player locations in wake. Ive tried to do this, but can't seem to do it very effectivly. Per round in a jet I get around 20-25 kills, while my teammate gets 50 or so.
What are some good areas to MG spray in wake, on 64 player servers. Places that are usually heavily populated when that team has the flag?

I mean just basic locations...drawn on a map would be best

Any tips for piloting on wake?

Learn where people spawn and where they stand. China airfield, j10 and z-10 spawn etc...

Wake for me:

PLA: Get in the J10, don't rape the carrier, kill anything that gets past arty island. Only if the entire USMC team rush together nothing reaches mainland

USMC: I love shooting down J10s, it's just as easy as pre-1.2, but now you get to make screenshots of hack accusations too!

most servers i am on that are playing maps like wake, oman, etc... always seem to have pilots raping the carrier.

carrier raping is lame
as said before shoot everything that comes across the arty island
when th usmc is already on the main island strafe their cars and the spots where soldiers spawn (learn where these spots are)
do not only bomb but learn how to use the MG efficiently

I find that the north base when occupied by the USMC seems to heavily spawn people behind the building just to the right of where the two vehicles spawn. If you are in a situation where the USMC controls both north base and north village then this spot is key. Now on the flip side if your USMC in the f-35 and havent been blown out of the sky by the J10 (way to overpowered) your best option is to vehicle hunt or helo or runway strafe.

Fly high towards the center island, Shoot your MG at the Stingersight and surrounding Rocks. Kill anyboats if you see them instead, but make sure the Stinger is shot up first. Try to see if any Blackhawks/Attack choppers are around, Bomb the Island. Go back to base, Repeat. If the Commander does his job spotting Boats and stuff comming from the Carrier, You can make sure they never land on the Island.

My Best was 61 Kills 1 Death.

You're Australian aren't you silver? So internode probably, so no carrier rapage allowed.

All i can say is I'm pretty similar, most of the kills that i miss out on that the other jet pilot gets are full black hawks, my shooting down of choppers are shit, i get some MG fire then end up crashing into them. Not want i want to do.

Just rape the island and think of what you would if you were US, be aware of black hawks up high or wide, rape the arty island and as you've stated, rape the spawn areas on each flag. Keep a look out for vehicles and use mg fire on them only, mg fire on all AA's could net you 8-10 kills a round.

Thats all i can say, just practice.

mini map......... is king.
Watch out for high concentrations of your own team on the map. If they are roughly in a line then you know there is am enemy line facing them a short distance away. Come in parralell with the line of your team mates and lay the bombs down infront.
