Ive noticed choppers and Jets have a some random circle that seems to float over the HUD at times. Anyone know what its for? and does it have a use?

Sorry If you have no idea what im on about, I cant describe it any better

its to do with yor hover as far as i can rememeber.

it somehow is supposed to show you if you are hvering perfectly (if it is in the middle you are havering on spot)
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

so its handy for choppers wanting to stay still but cant use the ground as a marker?

Im not 100% sure but apparently its got to do with your gunners view(show where he is aiming), i could be wrong .................

Yeah you are wrong, the wee box at the bottom with the circle in it is the gunners view and where he is aiming. The circle that is present when you first start the chopper and again if you hover nearly perfectly is just that, an indicator that you are hovering perfectly...
