At first it was just the name of a building you could deposit stuff you don't need or use for others to have.(A building) Now I think its the name of the town that has everything everyone has built. Almost everyone anyways. lol

You were digging under a lot of gravel. I just shored it up by cobbling under two layers of dirt (or gravel/dirt).

It was stuck, trying to swim against the current of the water.

Strange, Bukkit usually only gets 7 or 8 builds a day max. But, today they've had 20. I think they are gearing up for a stable/recommended release. That makes me happy so I don't have to keep updating every day.

Edit: I got a reply from support about the server.

"We have resolved this issue and suspended the vps who was creating problem on main node.
Please check the performance now."
