The atmosphere is different yes. I've gone to my share of gators games. But to say the NFL is boring compared to college is a stretch for any football fan. In fact the NFL's entertainment value transcends to people who aren't even really fans of the game. (superbowl parties n such)

It is still entertaining, but compared to college is extremely cookie cutter offensively and conservative philosophically. I enjoy watching the wide diversity of attacks in college and seeing a team go for it on 4th and 1 at the 50.
