I chuck some in the exchange now and then. If it's gone, go chop some in my base. Down the spiral to bench #4, through the door and behind the farm (facing dir 0). 80-100 logs, just replant and replace used axes.bennisboy wrote:

Been on it a few times.
Rarely anyone on there.

Made a giant half-sphere lava/water fountain. Working out the issues. Will ss when it's all working. Started off as a netherstone sphere, took a break at the halfway point and came up with some better ideas. When I get a stable connection to the BF2s one I'll make one on there.
When you leave the server, does everything you have in your inventory save?

I hope carpet and wallpaper get implemented at some point. Being able to use one block for F1's ceiling and F2's floor with a different color on the bottom and top would be dandy. I'm tired of having to make 2m thick floors and walls if I want variety.
Some of the code's already pretty much there: snow layer and paintings. All that'd have to be done is to make new objects.
I'm thinking...
Paper, desired texture block (q; only certain blocks allowed), paper:
P x x
q x x
P x x
= 2x wallpaper and
Cotton, desired texture block (q), cotton:
C q C
= 4x carpet.
Could use blocks like colored wool, wood, gravel and such for whatever texture you want. Gravel's a great carpet texture, but is awkward to work with in a house.

I can foresee problems with collision between wallpaper and carpet where the floor and wall meets. I suppose there would be collision problems if trying to get wallpaper to meet carpet on an intersection between wall and floor, but that could be circumvented by dubbing missing stuff "wainscoating" or assuming that the carpet is an area rug that doesn't quite reach the wall.
Tossed it on the small suggestions thread. Also found and responded to this:
Here's how it'd operate ([i] = input):
[i]-(successful output - flint]
\--[failed output - gravel]
With that done, you could add more valuable things to sift out of other blocks that are best moved with shovels.
Instead of all that, why not just put in a sifter you can load a full stack of gravel into and let it "dig" for flint on its own?Blade Avuari wrote:
Instead of ore, it should just be flint stone.destroyer2012 wrote:
Change flint so it is an ore that occurs at surface level.
Repeatedly placing gravel and destroying it to get flint is REALLY tedious, plus, not realistic even in the slightest. Flint ore is more realistic, since it actually does occur in deposits.

Well, it works. Mob spawn rate is slow, considering the unlit areas in this player zone, but I'm alright with it. The more that's lit up, the more you get. Spider separator is implemented. String comes out the right side from a spider drowner, everything else comes out the left from a lava grinder.

Working on turning the entire surface from a 300m radius around the exchange into a mob-free torch. With what I did, I've already noticed an increase in spawn rate in my mob trap. The slime areas nearby will also see the benefits, particularly if the mob trap lights are switched on.

Doubled the amount of lighting I put in since the last image. sleeeepy
kampf, would you mind me including my tower into your business district garden?
i would.
Im not going to break it open and make it oddly shaped (thus looking ugly) because there's a fencegate between the two.

ok. was planning on doing it myself though, but if you dont want the shape to change then we'll leave it like this.
